Welcome to my About page! I'm Sarah, a cake maker with a true passion for creating beautiful and unique cakes. It all started 13 years ago when I began making cakes for family and friends. With 4 children in tow and requests for friend’s and family’s wedding/celebration cakes my hobby slowly started to turn into a lifelong love affair with the art of cake making. Over the years, I've honed my skills and experimented with different flavors, designs, and techniques to bring you delicious, one of a kind creations.

Growing up in London them moving to the beautiful coastal town of Crescent head 22 years ago my cake style is a real mix of urban meets coast. From delicate wafer paper flowers that mimic the coastal bush to buttercream abstracts that add a urban splash of colour to your cake. I also love working with native florals and am so lucky to have the talented @floralculture to work with.
But lets not forget taste! To me its just as crucial that every single one of my cakes not only looks amazing, but also tastes absolutely delicious. I am constantly creating new flavour combinations w very willing test dummies in my 4 children and friends. And when it comes to ingredients I source the freshest and finest ingredients from my own garden and community. From farm-fresh eggs to home grown fruits, herbs and edible flowers. Every ingredient is carefully chosen to enhance the taste and quality of my creations.I would love to work with you to design your perfect cake combo x

We create beautiful cakes for every celebration, from intimate elopements to show-stopping centrepieces designed to feed a crowd. Delivery is available within 60 km of Crescent Head.

HOW BOOKING WORKS
Request a quote → Receive your proposal → Pay 10% to secure your date.

We will help you build your cake to create the style you like and suit the amount of guests you want to serve . All of our custom cakes can be created in 4”,5”,6”,7”,8”and 10” sizes. If you like the look of a taller tier cake we can create a double barrel cake that will also feed more guests. Standard height tiers consist of 3/4 layers. Tall tiers consist of 6/8 layers and serve double the amount of guests. If you decide to serve your cake as the main dessert, you may need to consider providing larger serves for your guests. If other sweets are offered, smaller portions may suffice. A dessert serve is typically 1”x2”x3” a coffee serve is 1”x1”x3’ (see below pics)

We think every special moment deserves a one-of-a-kind cake that's just as unique as the people it's celebrating. Whether it's a playful cake for a kid's birthday bash, a elegant cake for a special birthday or just because you feel like cake! The sky's the limit. With every creation, we aim to capture the heart of the occasion, so our cakes turn into cherished memories. Celebration cakes come as a standard 6” cake 4 layer cake (serves approx 6-12) but any custom size can be created.
All cakes are baked from scratch and made to order. Substitutions can be made for gluten free, egg free, nut free and/or lactose free.
